These sweet neighbors of ours moved in not too long ago, and they seem to be leaving just as quick as they came! So happy for their next adventure back in Arizona, but always sad to see good people go, especially when our daughters just started hanging out more! They have the cutest puppies as a part of their family, so capturing photos in their backyard with them was perfect. Here’s a peek!

I had the most precious little newborn named Matilda in my studio the other day! Born a few weeks early, she was like a little doll that barely made a fuss and slept the entire time! Big brother was so cute and gentle around her, and the whole family is just the sweetest. So happy to have captured this special time of their lives.

It was fun capturing a few extended families in their homes during Thanksgiving break, this fun crew being one of them. Right when we started shooting, it started snowing outside, so it was a good thing we were all cozied up inside. 😉 Here’s a peek!

When your sister’s fam is in town, it is fun to be able to capture your family’s photos together along with your mom! I’m so glad the weather cooperated (60’s in November) for us to sneak in an outdoor session! They are such a cute bunch, and I really see the resemblance of the sisters (and mom!) We ended our shoot with some leaf throwing.. because why not?! It’s always brings a little joy to one’s face. Over the Summer, we got paired up with a random couple for a golf mixer, and it happened to be two people from our church! **I recognized Megan right away as she is an amazing speaker/leader there.** It has been so much fun getting to know them, and I’ve enjoyed capturing their son’s senior photos, and now their entire family. Besides a little wind, we could not have asked for a more beautiful Fall day, and we even found some color left on the trees! Megan is surrounded by a bunch of handsome boys, and I can tell that the brothers are/will be close as they grow up. Here’s a peek!

What a beautiful day and wedding this was! I was first contacted by Katelin about capturing their big day when she and Justin lived over seas in Italy! I have to give props to her for making her plans in a city she had never lived in, and from such a distance! And, I’ll admit that I was a bit nervous when she mentioned a 5:00 ceremony outdoors on November 5, as I knew daylight savings was the night before and it would be dark in no time! We lucked out, though, and there was a perfect amount of light leftover at the end of the day. 😉 The day unfolded just beautifully and I love how Katelin made tribute to her mother whom passed away not too long ago. A photo of her mom followed her throughout the day, and I have no doubt that she was watching from above. Katelin and Justin are such a sweet couple, and I loved all the little moments together (such as how often he would kiss her hand or make an adorable comment). I wish them nothing but the best in this next chapter of their lives together!
Captured this sweet family just the other week! How are we lucking out with such beautiful November weather in Omaha?! Even shooting in the morning for this session was doable. Love all the textures to their cozy looking sweaters, and I’m wondering if they have an adult size in little Madeline’s top. So cute! Here’s a peek at our session together.

We love our neighborhood, mostly because we have great neighbors like these guys! Even though it was windy and darker outside, the photos turned out so warm looking with their personalities, snuggles and fall colors during this session. So happy to have captured their extended family. I think everyone needs to capture whole families more often, as photos such as the generational shots are true treasured ones to look back on for years to come!

So thankful for new friends and then finding out they have a senior son that needs some photos! Had a great time capturing this handsome young man, and also hearing mom tell “dad jokes” on the side. Pretty sure she cracked me up more than Jackson! 😉 He was a natural and gave the sweetest hug to his momma for one quick shot! And at the end, he even go to show off his cool new car!

This family reminds me a lot of mine for some reason. Maybe it’s the two sisters that remind me of my sister and I at that age, or maybe it is because they are also originally from Wisconsin and have the good ol’ Northern/midwestern manners. 😉 It was nice to have the grandpa/dad join them for the session, too! I’m always up for little adventures with my clients, and so I was more than happy to photograph this sweet family at Hitchcock nature center. It is a little more hiking than normal, but man it is worth it to see that beautiful sunset over the bluffs! It is so still and peaceful up there, and we could not have asked for a more beautiful day. I last photographed Marcia with a horse, and so it was fun to capture her whole family this time. I’m not sure where the time goes. Or when younger siblings start catching up in height with their big siblings. It all goes so fast! I’ve known this sweet crew since our littles were in preschool. Kris and I were in the same boat with our twins and an older sibling, and it’s always been fun having her to relate to with it all! Their kiddos have the most beautiful blue eyes, and it’s always fun when little ones have missing teeth smiles!

This was a very hot, sticky session, but I’m so glad this cute crew were good troopers about it! Especially since I had them walk all over the park. 😉 What better way to end your day than with your 1 year old’s cake smash! He LOVED that cake… evening putting his whole face in it at one point!

Met up with this sweet family recently for a fun session, which included grandma whom was visiting from Montana! I love getting generational shots when grandparents are around. A few Summer’s ago, I captured a 50th wedding anniversary at Bellevue Berry Farm, and now 2 years later, they decided to have a family reunion at the same location! rodney tuttle retirement
It was an honor capturing Chief Master Sergeant Rodney G. Tuttle’s retirement at Offutt Air Force Base recently. Taking place in a hanger with a plane as the backdrop, it was a very cool setting, though it was 100 degrees with high humidity that day and no air conditioning was in the facility! It was a little toasty, but it didn’t seem to bother any of the wonderfully dressed men and women in uniform. So thankful for this family and their service and am wishing them all the best as they enter the next chapter of their lives! Here’s a peek at their big day!
