This past Valentine’s, I was asked by a Realty group to take some “kissing booth” photos for an event they were having. In that group was a sweet mama, two of her boys and a little one on the way. So glad that we met that day as she reached out to have me capture her precious little girl who was just 11 days old when I met her. Joyce did so great during her first session and slept pretty much the whole time, with exception of the beginning when she gave me the BEST facial expressions. She is sure gonna have some protective older brothers! Here’s a peek. 🙂

What better time to capture photos with your kiddos than around Father’s Day! So happy for my dear friend who is dating this sweet man with some adorable kiddos. They are such happy, energetic little individuals and had the perfect balance of goofiness and big smiles during our session.

I recently captured this sweet lady who just reached an important milestone ~ turning 40! She has a love for animals/horses, so what better time to capture her with such a beautiful creature!? The horses’ name was Flash, and though he was not the biggest fan of having his photos taken and would have rather snacked on grass and trees the whole time, he occasionally “smiled” for us, and paired up beautifully with Marica who contrasted him well with her lovely flowery dress. Love capturing this sweet family as they’re always dressed so cute in their matching outfits with hair done just right. I have been capturing the kiddos since they were babies and it has been a joy watching them grow! And lil sis looks just like her big sis! I always enjoy meeting new families, especially if they’re referred to by another family that you are friends with! I captured this sweet family in the comfort of their own yard and surroundings. We had the most beautiful (though a little muggy) day with nice, diffused lighting. The kiddos had the most beautiful, blue eyes and they especially enjoyed the ending where they hung out by their pond. Here’s a peek!

I love seeing families grow after I’ve photographed their weddings! This sweet family has the most adorable little kiddos, and Ruby just turned ONE! She is such a doll with big, blue eyes and little “Bam Bam” hair. 😉 Her big brother is just as cute and I can tell the two of them will have so much fun growing up together.

What a beautiful session this was! From Amy showing up in an adorable dress that showed her bump beautifully to the gorgeous lighting and moody skies, it had me feeling like we were in a different state! Little sis did awesome and seemed to enjoy being in the spotlight for some of the shots. I’m so happy for this growing family as they anticipate their newest little lady that will be here in no time!

It was such a pleasure capturing this cute fam again! I hadn’t seen them since I first photographed their twins as newborns, whom have now grown into adorable ONE year olds. A few months ago I photographed Graham as a newborn, and due to various sicknesses, we couldn’t capture the whole family. And then, because…well…life sometimes gets crazy, we ended up reuniting for the rest of the photos when he was 3 months old! It was so cute as he was mostly wide awake much of the time and is the calmest baby ever with awesome eye contact! His siblings all wanted to snuggle him, and I think we eventually wore him out as he passed out briefly and so sweetly in his mom’s arms. They are such a sweet family and I’ve enjoyed getting to know them more! Here’s a peek. 🙂

Little Myles is turning ONE, and what better time to update his photos along with his family. He has got the cutest hairdo and a big sister who seems to adore him. I don’t think he was too fond of a cake smash, but hey, when it’s your party ~ you can cry if you want to. 😉 I think he enjoyed bath time the most! Here’s a peek!

It was a pleasure to meet this sweet family for the first time and photograph them within their beautiful home! We started with some warm and cozy fireside shots, then although it was super cold and windy out, we got a few on their deck, and attempted the front porch, but by then, the kiddos were pretty cold and decided to watch from within the house…as you’ll see them in the windows in a few shots. 😉 We also grabbed a few headshots and I caught the kiddos snacking at the end. You never know what kind of weather November might bring you in Nebraska, but we sure lucked out with it being a beautiful evening! At one point the sky even looked like beautiful pastel colors. I was happy when one of my daughter’s good friend’s mom asked to to photograph her with her beautiful daughters and mom. Each with their own little personalities, it is cute how they each have a “twin” with the same eye color. How fun would it be to grow up with that many sisters!? Here’s a peek at our time together.

I hung out with this sweet bunch of ladies recently, and I’m always amazed at how small of a world it really is, as I found out how mom grew up where my grandparents and other family members did in Wisconsin! And, being a military family, I am so thankful for their service! We had a beautiful night with lots of laughs ~ here’s a peek!

Loved meeting this sweet family for the first time! I’ve photographed the brother of the dad many times, and I’m so glad that they got in touch to have their family photos taken with me as well! We had to include their pup in some, and I can’t believe how giant he is! Such a sweet boy, though he didn’t care to look at the camera very much. 😉 We had a gorgeous Fall evening for our session, and I haven’t seen the lake that still in a long time!

It was great meeting Jace, whom has such a peaceful, relaxed personality, for the first time for his Senior photos! He was later joined for a few quick photos with his family, and it was the shot with his brother in which I could tell how close their bond is. They even got matching tattoos! What a gorgeous day we had for this session! I had the pleasure of meeting Sherri back at Mama Bunch years ago, where women gather during the early years of motherhood, and she was considered our “mama” as she already went through the years of having young kiddos as all hers were grown! I remember her talking about her first grandbaby, and now, look how her family has grown! So many addooorable grandbabies! Even though some of the kiddos were not feeling well, we still got some really great shots! And, I cannot believe how much her daughters look like twins! (they are not;) This family is truly blessed, and I’m so happy I got to capture this fun time in their lives together. Here’s a peek!

I was very much looking forward to this Senior session with Jay as I haven’t been to Lauritzen Gardens for quite some time. It it such a lovely place! Before entering the gardens, we took some photos by the train, and then discovered that the gardens closed at 5pm not 8pm like the website still stated! It was 4:30, so we hightailed it on a quest to find a bench that was dedicated to his grandpa who spent much time in the gardens. I loved that we were able to incorporate this as his grandpa seemed very special to him. Having gone later, we pretty much had the whole garden to ourselves! We then wrapped up the sessions just outside the gardens with some colorful wall art. Jay is a wonderful young man with a bright future ahead of him! Here’s a peek!

When we first chatted about dates, it just so happened that the one we chose fell on Nichole’s birthday, and she was more than happy to have a photo shoot as a part of her celebration.
