It’s always a joy to meet new families, and I’m so thankful that this one was willing to hang out in the cold with me to capture these sweet shots. Our Fall colors are disappearing quickly, so shivers and all, we did our best to keep warm! Here’s a peek!

It is crazy to think that I first started photographing this beautiful family when I was pregnant with my first, and Janet was pregnant with her last, and that was 9 years ago! So of course kids will grow, I’m not sure why it’s always a surprise to me when I see them again after some time and they are no longer little. π They all look so mature! It was fun to have Janet’s brother and his wife join, as well as their cute pup this time. Here’s a peek!

Last time I saw Savannah, she was snoozing away during her newborn session! Now, a year old, she is cute as a button and her blue eyes matched her dress perfectly. I wish we could have had some better weather as her little teeth were chattering away at times during our session, so we made sure to do lots of snuggles during shots and in between.
Thank you, Molly & Adam, for having me capture your beautiful family again! π

The location for this shoot could not have been more perfect — right in their backyard, on a road with no traffic, and it was just so peaceful (except for when a train came roaring by :D). It was so fun catching up with this sweet fam, and whenever I don’t see clients for awhile, it amazes me how tall the kiddos get! We soaked up some beautiful weather before it got really cold! Here’s a peek!

Everytime I photograph this sweet fam, I am reminded of the couple’s wedding that I helped photograph 11 years ago now when I was first jump-starting my career. One of my favorite things about photography is that I get to see how families grow and be a part of freezing those changing times for them! Kids really do change so quickly, and it is so fun to look back at sessions from years past. We had the most beautiful night with an eerily, beautiful hazy sunset, and not to mention being surrounded by gorgeous Fall colors. Here’s a peek!

I love meeting new families! And, what an amazingly beautiful Fall morning we had for their shoot — not too cold for their sweet little munchkins. I can tell the boys are going to be great friends when the littest is old enough to play. π Here’s a peek at their session!

When some recent clients sent me a photo of a cute building they wanted shots by, I was all for it! I love the brickwork and how the gold tones match the chair and compliments their outfits. They are such a photogenic bunch, it’s impossible not to get an overabundance of cute shots of them. Here’s a peek!

Love love watching my little clients grow, especially if I’ve been capturing them since birth. One of them showed up recently snoozing away from his little nap in the car, and I thought I’d give him a few more minutes before asking him to smile and look at the camera. π Such a sweet moment. I really enjoyed a new location too where we could do some exploring and look for FROGS! So. many. giant. frogs! It was a lot of fun and a gorgeous day to capture this beautiful family!
brennen // 6 months // 2020
Sweet little Brennen is growing like a weed and already 6 months old! While he was not a huge fan of getting his photos taken, he loved hanging out with his family, and especially his big sis. It was so adorable when he fell asleep for a quick little 2 minute nap mid-shoot as well. Here’s a peek!
lincoln // newborn // 2020
Lincoln came into the world just a bit early, and oh my, what a sweet little peanut he is! He was the most perfect little sleeper and gave the cutest smiles, and when he was awake he was just so calm. Mom and dad could not be more happy, and I can tell already that they are going to be wonderful parents to this little man! Here’s a peek!
olivia // newborn // 2020
Sweet little Olivia came into the world just a short time ago! She is welcomed by her two loving sisters and parents (& two kitties!) and is such a perfect addition to their family! From a full head of of hair to her tiny little toes, we made sure to capture all of her cuteness. Here’s a peek!
nosal // family // 2020
Recently, I captured this sweet family in Chalco Hills. We went on a little adventure through the trails, and even came across a poor baby deer that was stuck in the mud in a ditch. π Luckily, another couple was there to call for some help. The boys could not be more adorable (can we say Gerber Baby!?), and even mom and dad are as sweet as ever with their couple shots. Here’s a peek at our time together on a beautiful night!
jarrett // newborn // 2020
It was not too long ago that I captured the growing baby bump on one sweet mama, and now they’ve welcomed into the world their precious little boy, Jarrett (Jett). He was so tiny and petite and felt most comfortable being all bundled up. I always like trying to incorporate some things that are special to them, and I love how the jacket one turned out since mom and dad are in the air force. Here’s a peek at our little session together!
olivia // newborn // 2020
Sweet baby Olivia came into the world one week early, and we had her newborn shoot on her actual due date! She is a cutie pie, and I see a perfect mix of mom and dad. She was one of the most vocal and animated babies I’ve ever had while sleeping. So many adorable cooing noises, smiles and other various facial expressions. Here’s a peek!
jess & bj // married // 2020
Recently, I enjoyed being a part of Jess and BJ’s beautiful & intimate backyard wedding! It was such a sweet setting and was so meaningful as it was the house that BJ grew up in. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, the two of them became one under a canopy of trees, and afterwards enjoyed a nice meal provided by Dante’s pizza (whom cooked it directly on their driveway!) Little did we know that the day had record temps + humidity of 100+! So thankfully they had the cute little fans available. Another detail that is worth noting is the tree stump that has their names carved into it. BJ had carved into a tree that he proposed to Jess at, and more recently the tree was hit by lighting. They were able to save the piece of the tree that had so much meaning to them, and I think it’s the sweetest thing!
Here is a peek at how their day unfolded! Congratulations to the newlyweds. π
emma // senior // 2020
Recently, I met up with beautiful miss Emma to take her senior photos! She was just as sweet as ever and made my job of photographing her effortless. A natural model. We ventured out to the Creighton campus and then made our way to a soccer field, where she could show off her passion of soccer. I love that her puppy came along for the ride, too! Here’s a peek!
summer // 2020
I am always so thankful for referrals and meeting new families ~ especially ones that live right in my neighborhood! This sweet family of 5 (+ grandma!) came on a little adventure with me to Zorinsky, and we could not have asked for a more beautiful night! Wow. That sunset!! They were all so photogenic, even though running away from the camera was much preferred by the littles. π Here’s a peek!
colton // newborn // 2020
I met Lisa more recently at our bible study group, and I was so happy when she asked me to photograph their expected little bundle! Colton is absolutely adorable and clearly likes to be snuggled. He was pretty upset right before the laying down pose with mom, but as soon as I set him next to her, he was immediately calm and turned his face to her. Such a beautiful bond they already share. They came with the idea of incorporating dad’s love of hunting into the session, and I love those shots turned out. Little Colton is so loved and a perfect gift from God.Β
jordan + john // maternity
I absolutely love lace dresses, and when you pair one with a beautiful lady with a bump, you have one lovely maternity session!Β Jordan and John are expecting their first little bundle in August and I cannot wait to meet him. I can tell that these two are going to be sweet and loving parents. Here’s a peek!
dey + jim // married // 2020
Jim & Dey were originally supposed to have a destination wedding, but with Covid restrictions, their plans soon changed. They planned an alternative location here in Omaha and had to replan mid-way with even more guidelines to follow.Β I don’t know what it was like behind the scenes with stress levels and decision-making, but bless their hearts and cheers to them as you would never know that there were any bumps along the way as the day went so smoothly and was just beautiful. I am amazed that they made so many changes in just a few months! Weddings are meant to be spent with friends and family, and despite the craziness going on in the world, I’m so glad that they had a chance to celebrate with all of their loved ones, and I could feel God’s presence throughout the whole day as these two became one.
Jim & Dey are such a sweet couple and I was so happy to be a part of their big day! I will not be opposed though, if they ever renew their vows on a tropical island…..say 10 years from now, if they want to bring me along to capture that as well. π Here’s a peek at how their day unfolded!
levi // newborn // 2020
When I first saw little Levi, I could see so much of his big brother and sister in him. Having photographed all three of them as newborns, memories of the little details came flooding back of the sibling’s sessions. They all have the same nose for sure! He is such a sweet boy that is welcomed into an equally sweet family. Here’s a peek at our session!
cameron // newborn // 2020
Little Cameron was just over three weeks old when I first met him, and though babies around that age are a little more awake, this guy melted into a deep slumber pretty soon after we wrapped and rocked him a bit. Such a lucky little boy to be surrounded by such sweet parents and the most gorgeous little nursery. Here’s a peek at our time together!
brennen // newborn // 2020
Baby Brennen is one month old, and what a CUTIE he is! Big sister, Edie, is already so protective and loving towards him, I can tell they will have lots of fun playing together someday. So happy for this now family of four and am looking forward to capturing his first year!
archer // 1 year
Sweet little Archer is turning ONE! It has been a joy watching him grow this last year, he just keeps getting cuter and his facial expressions are the absolute best. Just in time for Mother’s Day, here are a few sweet moments captured between him and his mama, as well as his dad and his bear that represents big brother.
