I had such a fun time capturing this sweet bunch at the tree farm! When Hannah told me that her boys have “trained” for posing for the camera, she wasn’t wrong! These boys have done this a time or two and were such good listeners! Though, I know that all they really wanted to do was run down hills and through the trees, wrestle and create grass stains on their nice pants! haha! This was precious little Addie’s first round of Christmas photos, and she too did awesome! Though, all I’m sure she wanted to do was eat and sleep. 😉 So happy for our gorgeous weather as I look out now at our Winter wonderland. Here’s a peek!

Love photographing this sweet bunch of ladies! All the kiddos have the cutest personalities, and it really shows up in photos. They are spitting images of their mama and grandma, and they all have the most beautiful long locks of hair. So thankful for another gorgeous night for this session.

Love when whole families come together for an extended family session! It was a bit windy, but we found a nice wind block and had a beautiful evening for our session. With lots of cute kiddos, a puppy and parents trying to settle them all, those around me most definitely heard my attempt at getting everyone’s attention! 😉 I love all of the colors and how beautifully they matched their background. Fall colors were certainly showing off during this beautiful family session! And I love how their outfits were complimentary to the background. Pretty sure the kiddos favorite part of the shoot was then end when they got to toss the leaves up in the air!!

When a family reached out wanting to shoot Senior photos on their beautiful land down near Springfield, NE, I absolutely jumped on the opportunity. Upon pulling up to the house, along a windy dirt road, I could tell it was going to be a fun shoot! From being escorted in their cool ride all over the property, to hanging with the dogs, cats and cows, it was definitely a first for me! Eli is such a nice, young man with so much to look forward to! So happy to have captured this special milestone for him.

It was a pleasure meeting and capturing this lovely family for the first time! We did some exploring in Heron Haven and had a gorgeous evening for our session! Their oldest is the same age as my oldest, and like my daughter, it’s always crazy when we get to the point of our lives that our children outgrow us! Time, please slow down. Here’s a peek!

Capturing this sweet little family brought me back to life when we had our first little lady! Simpler times….though I wouldn’t trade the craziness of three kiddos now! 😉 You can tell these amazing parents adore their little girl. Capturing this fam always brings a smile to my heart. Rob and Nicole are such a genuine couple who is raising their little man with so much politeness and love. And might we add how cute his boots were! It was such a gorgeous evening and we ended it with a beautiful sunset and comfy, matching sweatshirts that they got on vacation over the Summer.

It was such a pleasure photographing this sweet family! Having moved here from Colorado, I’m so glad that they came across my page. We had the most perfect evening to explore and capture the love! All the kiddos were so polite, and we had a few fearless ones who were excited to touch a GIANT spider. Love meeting new families! And am especially thankful when new families are referred to me by clients and/or friends & family! We had a great night for this session, and besides being attacked by mosquitos and “no-see-um” bugs (why do either exist!??) it was a great time to capture a variety of shots including each kiddo individually. For this session, we were planning to shoot at Lauritzen gardens, but due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to change up our plans. We shot at their home instead, and when I pulled up to their drive, I immediately loved what I saw ~ it was such a perfect backdrop with crawling vines, greenery and flowers everywhere! So beautiful! What a sweet family, and as I’ve mentioned before, grandma and grandpa time is SO important, and I’m so happy that I got to capture this time of theirs together. Here’s a peek!

I always love capturing this sweet crew, and I love the color combos that they chose! Knowing them since their twins were in preschool, it’s been fun watching them grow into their parent’s minis. And I’m now convinced that their parents don’t age. 😉 Here’s a peek at our session together.
jack | 90th birthday party celebration!
What a pleasure it was to capture the 90th birthday party of Jack who recently celebrated this incredible milestone! Taking place at Papillion Landing, which was wonderful space to begin with, his family decorated it beautifully, I almost felt like I was at a wedding reception! Surrounded by friends and family that came from near and far, you can tell that he is so loved and cherished. Time spent with family is so important, and I’m glad I was able to capture this time for them!

The Carter family was up for a playful, light-hearted session, which involved lots of laughs, hugs, an invisible sock puppet, and even a break for some delicious macarons! So glad my mother-in-law’s friend reached out when she knew her whole family would be in town to capture some photos! They gathered at Mahoney state park for a few days, so it was fun to take photos of them surrounded by the beautiful Nebraskan prairies! Here’s a peek. 🙂

I captured this sweet family at their home a few years back, and I was happy to capture more photos at their house once again! They had a beautiful blooming tree that they wanted to take photos with before it disappeared, and I’m so glad we did! I wish flowering trees would last all Summer though!! The kiddos were too cute with their baby blue eyes and girls with matching outfits. It was a pleasure meeting for the first time and capturing this beautiful family who gathered over the holidays — all the way from CA to Chicago! So glad the weather cooperated and was warmer than normal for us to be able to be outside! Teddy, the dog, even got to join and was so well behaved! And, I think the cutest little man stole the show for some of the time with all eyes on him during “blastoff” towards the end. 😉 They all had the best smiles and genuinely looked like they enjoyed being together. November in Nebraska, you never know what the weather will be like, but we have definitely lucked out this year with it! Days that are still in the 60’s — I will take it! And, I always enjoy spending time with this sweet crew. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen them, and the kiddos have grown like weeds! Love seeing this family grow over the years! We had a chilly day for photos, but the colors of the trees were nice and vibrant, so it was worth it to bare the early morning weather! At one point, we found a doll in a tree, and their little lady really wanted it, so it may have ended up in a few photos! Ha. Whatever helps bring smiles to a face! 😉

Meet Thomas! This little guy was born a few weeks early, but the day I photographed him was his actual due date! He was still just so tiny and adorable, and so very sleepy..sleeping the entirety of the shoot! He definitely has some older brothers that absolutely adore him. So grateful to have capture this precious time for them!

Love working with large extended families! Such a fun variety of photos we always get, though I need to be reminded if we missed any as it can sometimes happen. 😉 We had the most gorgeous Fall day once again, and I was so happy to capture their time together!
