My cousin, who introduced me to my now husband, and who currently lives in Italy came to town recently and asked me to capture her husband’s whole side of the family! Of course I would! When you’re not all together very often, I find it so important to capture these times you do share together. Such a beautiful fam, and I really enjoyed spending time with my cousin and her beautiful little girl during their visit. Even though I was sweating like crazy, you would never know that it felt like a million % humid out, they all look so fresh and lovely! Here’s a peek!

When you’re celebrating your 50th anniversary and all your family is in town, it is a good time to capture the whole gang together! So happy to have met this sweet family and photograph right in their beautiful backyard.

Recently, I had a chance to photograph this sweet military family of 5 who reminded me of my family! Six year ago, we too were in the same boat of a 4 year old girl and boy/girl newborn twins. They seem to already be champs with the addition of their two cuties. Though the twins spent a good amount of time in the nicu, thankfully they were still nice and sleepy (eventually) for our session to get some super adorable shots! I think they most enjoyed when the air (heat) was almost turned up to 80…! 😅 We will blame electronics. Here is a peek at their sweet session!

What a cute little session this was! We couldn’t have picked a more beautiful day. The last time I photographed their little cutie was when he was a newborn. He has grown so much since! Though he was not a big fan of the camera and more curious about exploring the world around him, we got some cute shots and mom and dad coordinated so nicely for a Springtime look! Here’s a peek!

Mr Myles was not wanting to sleep right away, but thanks to some snacking from mom and baby whispering from dad, he finally got there and was oh-s0-squishable and adorable. Little sis seemed to adore him and is going to be such a good helper someday! Get ready for some cuteness overload.

It was wonderful meeting this sweet family and photographing their newest little boy, Connor James! He was one of the most content, happy little babies who gave me the sweetest looks before taking a snooze. It is always fun to watch siblings interact with a new baby, and he will certainly have a bunch of protectors as he grows up!

It was fun meeting a new family recently and capturing their extended family photos! They celebrated the littlest cutie’s 1st birthday that day, too, so I was glad to be a part of that milestone. November in the Midwest you might expect a freezing cold morning, but the day of this session was so nice! At least I thought so… the kiddos may have thought otherwise. 😉 Here’s a peek!

After first meeting them at church, and my husband knowing them from the college days, I was so happy when Nicole reached out to have me photograph her beautiful family! Their kiddos are all adorable, both inside and out, just like mom and dad. And the two things I got out of the session is that I might have Brian come be my assistant with posing/styling from now on, and Nicole and I are going to lounge at a pool built in one of our backyards someday…. 😉 Here’s a peek at our time together!

Love when you meet new families and you instantly feel like you’ve known them for awhile. Maybe it helps that this one has 5 year old twins and and older daughter, so the same as my family, but they were all just so sweet and fun to work with! It was so cute at one point during the session, we ran into a black cat that just kept following us around and made an appearance in our photos. I think he liked and appreciated the dresses that the girls were wearing. 😉 Also, check out that BEAUTIFUL sunset we had!

I absolutely loved photographing these two cute girls in their dance costumes, so it was fun to capture them once again along with their whole family! They are all so sweet and so photogenic. And when I asked dad to do a push up after the kids pig-piled on him, I was so surprised that he didn’t hesitate one second and just went for it. I’m pretty sure that was the best part of the kiddo’s night. 😉 We had a beautiful Fall day which I am so thankful for ~ here’s a peek!

Loved shooting at this sweet family’s lake house! It was so peaceful and still the night that we were there. I first met Elizabeth when she was pushing her triplets in a stroller at Mama Bunch! Debbie & Dick {50th anniversary} celebration!
What a joy it was to capture the love between two people who celebrated 50 years of being married! Surrounded by friends and family, and traveling all the way from CA, they truly had something wonderful to celebrate. I loved hearing about the time that they met, and the theme of the party revolved around a photo of them in their early days of dating. The Bellevue Berry Farm is such a fun place and fit their theme perfectly. Here’s a peek at this beautiful couple and their fun day!

Oh my goodness, this family is just too cute! It has been fun capturing their baby boy as a bump, newborn and now as a ONE year old! Elora was the cutest little peanut with a beautiful name. She had the most adorable little furrow in her brows when she was awake and got upset, though most of the time she slept contently. One of my favorite things about photography is capturing families grow! I started photographing Bart and Anna way back when they did their engagement photos, and it has been so fun capturing their two sweet babes that they’ve had since that day. And then, I captured Bart’s brother a few years back, and now I got the chance to photograph their entire extended family! Our sweet neighbors and friends showed up to their session in some fresh Summer attire, and I love how mom and dad matched their minis! Too cute. They recently painted their house similar to the color of the girls’ dresses, as Angela wanted a beachy feel. I am thinking we probably should have just flown down to the coast for their session as they all looked tropical to me. Maybe next time!
