Our sweet neighbors and friends showed up to their session in some fresh Summer attire, and I love how mom and dad matched their minis! Too cute. They recently painted their house similar to the color of the girls’ dresses, as Angela wanted a beachy feel. I am thinking we probably should have just flown down to the coast for their session as they all looked tropical to me. Maybe next time! Little Finnigan just turned ONE, and I have to say that his hair is just amazing! All 3 of my babies were pretty practically bald still at that age so I was impressed that they already trimmed his a few times. 🙂 We enjoyed a windier day down at Zorinsky before some storms moved in. Here’s a peek!

Happy Birthday, Levi! He is ONE today and oh-so-handsome. Although he wasn’t a huge fan of the shoot this time around, we still caught a few adorable, toothless smiles. Westin could not be sweeter with all of that hair and perfect little facial features, and he slept so soundly the entire shoot! I could have snuggled him all day. Though his sisters were a little more shy in holding him right away, they warmed up quickly, and I can tell that they are going to have so much fun playing together someday! It’s always fun photographing this sweet family and seeing how big Ryker and Rydlee have gotten! Rydlee is catching up with her big brother and has such a cute, confident little personality. It was so nice to meet this sweet family and photograph their new little bundle named Hannah. She is a cutie pie who didn’t want to sleep right away, but once we got her there, she snoozed hard. Her mom and dad were even surprised that she stayed asleep in her crib for a bit as she usually wakes up! Our last shot involved dad’s art direction, as racing is something of importance to him — I think they found a new basinet! 😉 Here’s a peek at our fun shoot together!

It may have been a bit chilly and windy for my session with this sweet family, but I’m so glad they were good troopers and stuck it out, even if mom dashed to the car’s heater towards the end. 😉 I can tell the kiddos have a close bond and they were all so natural in front of the camera — they all could be little models! HAPPY BIRTHDAY to beautiful miss Baylie! I cannot believe it had been a year since I had seen her. She has grown into a beautiful little individual whom I can tell adores her family. She is a ball of joy and it was so fun watching her devour her cake. Here’s a peek!

Levi is one of those babies you just wanna smoosh and snuggle all day. He has the best facial expressions and just so adorable. This sweet family’s son is about to head off to the Navy, so they wanted to grab some family shots before his departure. It was an absolutely beautiful night for their session, and we even had some animals join in on the fun including a family of deer and a hawk that swooped down at us. It was was fun getting to know them, and I pray that they transition well into this new chapter of their lives. And thank you to Nate for serving our beautiful country!

It has been so much fun capturing this sweet fam over the years, and oh how quickly the time flies as Mr Malachi is going to be one! I’m sure Eli has been anxiously awaiting for his little bro to grow up so he can play with him more! They are too cute together and mom & dad are some awesome parents. It is crazy to think that I first started photographing this beautiful family when I was pregnant with my first, and Janet was pregnant with her last, and that was 9 years ago! So of course kids will grow, I’m not sure why it’s always a surprise to me when I see them again after some time and they are no longer little. 😉 They all look so mature! It was fun to have Janet’s brother and his wife join, as well as their cute pup this time. Here’s a peek!

Last time I saw Savannah, she was snoozing away during her newborn session! Now, a year old, she is cute as a button and her blue eyes matched her dress perfectly. I wish we could have had some better weather as her little teeth were chattering away at times during our session, so we made sure to do lots of snuggles during shots and in between.

The location for this shoot could not have been more perfect — right in their backyard, on a road with no traffic, and it was just so peaceful (except for when a train came roaring by :D). It was so fun catching up with this sweet fam, and whenever I don’t see clients for awhile, it amazes me how tall the kiddos get! We soaked up some beautiful weather before it got really cold! Everytime I photograph this sweet fam, I am reminded of the couple’s wedding that I helped photograph 11 years ago now when I was first jump-starting my career. One of my favorite things about photography is that I get to see how families grow and be a part of freezing those changing times for them! Kids really do change so quickly, and it is so fun to look back at sessions from years past. We had the most beautiful night with an eerily, beautiful hazy sunset, and not to mention being surrounded by gorgeous Fall colors. Here’s a peek!

Love love watching my little clients grow, especially if I’ve been capturing them since birth. One of them showed up recently snoozing away from his little nap in the car, and I thought I’d give him a few more minutes before asking him to smile and look at the camera. 😉 Such a sweet moment. I really enjoyed a new location too where we could do some exploring and look for FROGS! So. many. giant. frogs! It was a lot of fun and a gorgeous day to capture this beautiful family!

Lincoln came into the world just a bit early, and oh my, what a sweet little peanut he is! Recently, I captured this sweet family in Chalco Hills. We went on a little adventure through the trails, and even came across a poor baby deer that was stuck in the mud in a ditch. 🙁 Luckily, another couple was there to call for some help.
