Love spending time with this sweet family! It is always hard finding finding time to fit in sessions when your kiddos are involved in lots of activities, but I’m so glad it worked out, and we had an amazingly beautiful morning for our session! What better time to capture some family photos than when your littlest is turning ONE! Madeline is such a cutie who seems to love the camera the most. Loved meeting this sweet family for the first time! I’ve photographed the brother of the dad many times, and I’m so glad that they got in touch to have their family photos taken with me as well! We had to include their pup in some, and I can’t believe how giant he is! Such a sweet boy, though he didn’t care to look at the camera very much. 😉 We had a gorgeous Fall evening for our session, and I haven’t seen the lake that still in a long time!

Little Liv showed up a little sad when she first arrived because of her shoe choice, but it didn’t take long for her to light up and become that little ray of sunshine that she is! What a gorgeous day we had for this session! I had the pleasure of meeting Sherri back at Mama Bunch years ago, where women gather during the early years of motherhood, and she was considered our “mama” as she already went through the years of having young kiddos as all hers were grown! I remember her talking about her first grandbaby, and now, look how her family has grown! So many addooorable grandbabies! Even though some of the kiddos were not feeling well, we still got some really great shots! And, I cannot believe how much her daughters look like twins! (they are not;) This family is truly blessed, and I’m so happy I got to capture this fun time in their lives together. Here’s a peek!

When we first chatted about dates, it just so happened that the one we chose fell on Nichole’s birthday, and she was more than happy to have a photo shoot as a part of her celebration. Always love meeting new families and hearing their stories of how they end up in Omaha if they are new to town. These two sisters are in town for a short time before Karen heads to Hawaii for her traveling nurse career. It is so fun that they decided to do a little shoot together with their families, and I’m glad I was chosen to capture them! Including their dog, Athena, was so special as she doesn’t have much longer left. And we had fun exploring downtown on an unusual warm Fall evening. Here’s a peek!

Sometimes it is hard trying to coordinate getting your whole extended family together, but when you can, I am finding it so, so important to capture those moments! I was so happy that a friend asked me to capture her whole family and suggested their beautiful property out in the country as the location. Absolutely LOVED the location and the most gorgeous sunset we had at the end. They did a great job coordinating outfits for such a large group! I always enjoy capturing this sweet family! Even though the boys keep getting longer, they still have the cute baby faces from when I first captured them years ago. And Andrew definitely likes giving the serious look. 😉 We had the most gorgeous night and ended with a lovely sunset.

My cousin, who introduced me to my now husband, and who currently lives in Italy came to town recently and asked me to capture her husband’s whole side of the family! Of course I would! When you’re not all together very often, I find it so important to capture these times you do share together. Such a beautiful fam, and I really enjoyed spending time with my cousin and her beautiful little girl during their visit. Recently, I had a chance to photograph this sweet military family of 5 who reminded me of my family! Six year ago, we too were in the same boat of a 4 year old girl and boy/girl newborn twins. They seem to already be champs with the addition of their two cuties. Though the twins spent a good amount of time in the nicu, thankfully they were still nice and sleepy (eventually) for our session to get some super adorable shots! I think they most enjoyed when the air (heat) was almost turned up to 80…! 😅 We will blame electronics. Here is a peek at their sweet session!

What a cute little session this was! We couldn’t have picked a more beautiful day. The last time I photographed their little cutie was when he was a newborn. He has grown so much since! Though he was not a big fan of the camera and more curious about exploring the world around him, we got some cute shots and mom and dad coordinated so nicely for a Springtime look! Here’s a peek!

Mr Myles was not wanting to sleep right away, but thanks to some snacking from mom and baby whispering from dad, he finally got there and was oh-s0-squishable and adorable. Little sis seemed to adore him and is going to be such a good helper someday! Get ready for some cuteness overload.

It was wonderful meeting this sweet family and photographing their newest little boy, Connor James! He was one of the most content, happy little babies who gave me the sweetest looks before taking a snooze. It is always fun to watch siblings interact with a new baby, and he will certainly have a bunch of protectors as he grows up!

It was fun meeting a new family recently and capturing their extended family photos! They celebrated the littlest cutie’s 1st birthday that day, too, so I was glad to be a part of that milestone. November in the Midwest you might expect a freezing cold morning, but the day of this session was so nice! At least I thought so… the kiddos may have thought otherwise. 😉 Here’s a peek!

After first meeting them at church, and my husband knowing them from the college days, I was so happy when Nicole reached out to have me photograph her beautiful family! Their kiddos are all adorable, both inside and out, just like mom and dad. And the two things I got out of the session is that I might have Brian come be my assistant with posing/styling from now on, and Nicole and I are going to lounge at a pool built in one of our backyards someday…. 😉 Here’s a peek at our time together!

Love when you meet new families and you instantly feel like you’ve known them for awhile. Maybe it helps that this one has 5 year old twins and and older daughter, so the same as my family, but they were all just so sweet and fun to work with! It was so cute at one point during the session, we ran into a black cat that just kept following us around and made an appearance in our photos. I think he liked and appreciated the dresses that the girls were wearing. 😉 Also, check out that BEAUTIFUL sunset we had!

I absolutely loved photographing these two cute girls in their dance costumes, so it was fun to capture them once again along with their whole family! They are all so sweet and so photogenic. And when I asked dad to do a push up after the kids pig-piled on him, I was so surprised that he didn’t hesitate one second and just went for it.
